[1]The Mongolian Ambassador with the trustees of Go HelpThe Mongolian Ambassador was perhaps unprepared for the enthusiastic gaggle of camera wielding ralliers that greeted him at McCahill's Bar in London for a celebration of the Mongolian new year, Tsagaan Sar. The camera wielding ralliers were perhaps equally unprepared for the enthusiasm of the Mongolian Ambassador. It was a happy union.
The event was an opportunity for teams and interested parties to converge, rally even, and exchange ideas and wind each other up in preparation for The Mongolia Charity Rally. There was traditional Mongolian food, there were Mongolians both traditional and modern, there were representatives from some of our charities and there were the Go Help trustees, including Stephen who, as is his inclination, turned up in full Mongolian dress. There was beer, and a hazy recollection of vodka. There were speeches, stories, discussions and toasts. There was serious chat, there was frivolity.
It was good.
