Finally the taxi has broken down. 150km from mongol border. Some locals are looking but im not holding out too much hope.

AmbulancetoMongolia has been a resounding success meeting all its aims and have successfully delivered a fully operation Ambulance to Mongolia. We will put some pictures up when we find a faster internet connection, it is painfully slow everywhere we have been.

| 14 weeks 2 days ago | hello spectators, we have just arrived in Irktusk, Russia. Staying in a hostel tonight, its pretty smelly but the fellow hostel goers are all fairly pleasant. had a few mechanical issues with the ambulance yesterday but they have largely been resolved. headed for lake baikal tomorrow wgere we plan to have a day off to mess about and hopefully get to the border by monday and possibly even UB by monday night depending on road quality. | |
| 14 weeks 2 days ago | Broke down again today. Local did a temp fix. We think its the fuel solenoid. Can start engine with key but have to stop it by disconnecting a wire. | |

| 15 weeks 1 day ago | Stuck trying to get out of kazakh. We were supposed to register our visas. We did not. Have to pay 100 dollars each. First legit fine we have had to pay. Might be here a while as we have to pay at a bank in kaz then come back to the border. Waiting for them to do the paperwork. | |
