As you may have read on our blog, our beloved Triumph Herald was stolen and so this is the replacement:

Our New Car

Its a 1993 Vauxhall Cavalier 1.7TD  - and unfortunately its not a Triumph. But before the heckles start, it was free (meaning more money for charity!) and it does have a Japanese engine - so it should at least get us there, which after all is the main purpose of the rally. The car itself is in fairly good condition with only 90,000 (legitimate) miles on the clock. Its a little tatty around the edges, but it looks to be structurally sound. As I speak, a roofrack and spotlights are being added by our chief mechanic Chris Raynor (shown on the right).
